MECHATRONICS ENGINEERING

About

B.E. Mechatronics Engineering was introduced in the academic year 2011-2012 in direct response to the industrial demand for engineers with multi-disciplinary skills. The field of Mechatronics engineering encompasses Robotics and Automation, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Automotive Electronics, Sensors and Instrumentation and real time Embedded Systems which are fast growing technologies that would enable the development of Automation. The Mechatronics engineering program differs very significantly from the Mechanical Engineering program which allows engineers to design products with built-in intelligence. The department has well established laboratories and modernized infrastructure which bridges the gap between Industry and Academics. To make industry ready engineers of future, the department has a right blend of faculty members having expertise in Inter Disciplinary field of engineering.

Vision

Our Vision is to strive the students to foster rigorous academic emphasis with rich diversity of skills for the ability and passion to work sensibly and ethically for the betterment of humankind.

Mission

  • To prepare excellent Mechatronics Engineers with leading edge technology.
  • To achieve blending of knowledge attainment and application.
  • To impart value-based training and inculcate socially committed professionalism.
  • To develop the future engineers with invaluable entrepreneurial skill.
  • To build a strong integrated team of Mechatronics professionals.
