Aeronautical Engineering

Aeronautical Engineering deals with the design, construction and maintenance of both commercial and military aircrafts as well as that of missiles and spacecrafts. This branch of engineering encompasses the fields of fluid dynamics, material science, propulsion and electronics.

Career Opportunities

Huge opportunities are there in the companies and government agencies associated with the field of aeronautics. The prominent Government Organizations and PSU’s where these engineers can look for employment includes HAL, DRDO, Air India, Indian Airlines and ISRO. Job opportunities also exist in R & D areas in Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Civil Aviation. Aeronautical Engineering are also offered lucrative jobs in private charted and commercial airlines in India and abroad.

Mechanical Engineering

Known as the largest branch of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering extends across many interdisciplinary interdependent specialties. It is concerned with design, operation and maintenance of machines, their components, machine tools, manufacturing systems and processes, components of thermal power stations, solar energy, air conditioning and refrigeration and industrial engineering. Mechanical engineers are involved in the fundamental and applied aspects of these areas.

Mechanical Engineers find employment opportunities in the diversified branches of the mechanical field. They are employed in many types of manufacturing, fabrication, research and development, and service industries Railway Engineering. Aerospace, Automobile Industry, Power Plants, Manufacturing Industries e.g. Materials, refined metals etc.

Electronics & Communication Engineering

This wing of Engineering deals with studying, designing and overseeing production of consumer electronic equipments and also high – end electronics equipments like ipad, mobile phones, robots etc. There is a huge potential in the communication industry as it is undergoing a changes in the country.

Consumer electronics companies, electronic goods manufacturing companies, Industrial electronics and telecommunication companies, electronic product testing laboratories Government and Public Sector Organizations like All India Radio, Government and Private TV Channels, Indian Telephone Industry, National Physics laboratories etc.
